Alan M. Blaker, MD, FACC, FACP
Cardiology: Interventional Cardiology
Dr. Blaker is a summa cum laude graduate of Western Maryland College in Westminster, Maryland. There, he received a BA in Chemistry and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He then finished medical school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore and continued at Mercy Medical Center where he completed a residency in Internal Medicine. Dr Blaker went on to complete a three year fellowship in Cardiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology and is a member of the American Medical Association, the Florence Medical Society, the South Carolina Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Internal Medicine, the American Association for Nuclear Cardiology and the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. The American College of Physicians and the Society of Angio and Interventional Cardiology.
