James T. Lee, MD, FACC
Cardiology: Interventional Cardiology
Dr. James Lee, a native of South Carolina, obtained his B.A. in Biology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee before returning home to Charleston to complete his pre-doctoral training at the Medical University of South Carolina. While at the Medical University, Dr. Lee earned a Ph.D. in Pharmacology before completion of his medical degree. He joined Pee Dee Cardiology Associates after six years of additional training as a Resident in Internal Medicine and then as Clinical Fellow in General and Interventional Cardiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Lee is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and an Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. In addition to general cardiology, his special interests and expertise include acute coronary syndromes, balloon angioplasty and cardiac critical care.
